Quagga is the successor/fork of Zebra which was developed until 09/2005. It's a Routing software that provides support for the most important protocols OSPFv2, OSPFv3, RIP v1 and v2, RIPng, IS-IS and BGP-4 (MPLS support exists but it's not activly maintained). On DD-WRT, Quagga is delivered with builds for devices with >4MB flash.
